The Hyltarp exercise rug keeps your horse warm and dry – whether you are riding out, warming up or cooling down. The technically advanced outer material is waterproof and windproof, while remaining breathable. On the inside, the soft fleece lining lies comfortably against the coat and helps your horse maintain a pleasant temperature.

The exercise rug has a rounded shape and is cut so that the rider’s leg can rest naturally against the horse’s side. The Velcro fastening in front of the saddle makes it easy to attach, while the tail strap keeps it securely in place. Two reflective strips on both sides make you visible in the autumn darkness.

Outer material: 600D polyester
The fabric’s durability is measured in denier (D), a unit of yarn weight. 600D polyester provides a strong and durable outer material that withstands both weather and daily wear – perfect for riding and everyday use.

Lining: Anti-pilling fleece
The lining is made of soft fleece treated to resist pilling, preserving the comfortable feel against the horse’s coat and reducing the risk of chafing.

Waterproof rating: 3000 mm
The waterproof rating indicates how resistant the fabric is to water. 3000 mm means the material withstands rain and moisture well, making the exercise rug a reliable protection in varying weather conditions.

Breathability: 5000 MVT
Breathability is measured in MVT (Moisture Vapour Transmission), which indicates how much moisture can pass through the fabric. 5000 MVT means the material effectively wicks away sweat during riding and helps the horse maintain a stable, comfortable temperature.
